The Sonia Walkom Memorial Award recognises the dedication of a student enrolled in Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) at ɫֱNewcastle, TAFE Cessnock, ɫֱMaitland, or online.
The award honours students who demonstrate exceptional attendance, self-discipline, and a strong interest in the real estate sector. These students show dedication to their studies and exhibit professionalism. This recognition has the potential to enhance their overall well-being, increase confidence, improve academic performance, and positively influence their future career prospects.
In 2015, Scott Walkom and the team at established the award in partnership with the Hunter TAFE Foundation. It honours Sonia Walkom and her enthusiasm for continuous learning throughout her successful career.
