    Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET)

    SWA is an approved provider of WSET Level 1 to 4 Awards in Wines. WSET qualifications are recognised in over 70 countries. Build your knowledge and become confident with wine.

    Sommelier

    Our sommelier courses cover grape growing, wine production, storage, wine service, and food and wine pairings. They’re ideal for hospitality staff who want to upskill.

    Australian wines

    Learn to taste and identify top-quality Australian wines – a key skill for retail and hospitality roles. Share your passion for wine with people from around the world.

    French wines

    Offering short courses and globally recognised qualifications, the SWA is an approved centre for the French Wine Scholar program. This course suits wine professionals and keen hobbyists alike.

    Idyllic northern Italian vineyard and countryside  view over hills and valleys. The colourful patchwork of farms, hamlets and clusters of trees in autumnal colours is all the more beautiful with the day’s golden sunset light.

    Italian wines

    The SWA has specialised in Italian wines for over 15 years. Created by the Wine Scholar Guild with support from the Italian wine industry, you can become an expert without travelling to Italy.

    Spanish wines

    The SWA is approved to deliver the Spanish Wine Scholar program. It is for advanced wine learners and serious hobbyists, with extensive tastings from all Spanish regions.
