    Set up multifactor authentication with Security Key

    Your Security Key lets you securely log in to 秀色直播systems using multifactor authentication (MFA).

    Follow the steps on this page to:

    • pair your 秀色直播account with your Security Key
    • use your Security Key when you log in.

    Before you start

    You’ll need a computer connected to the internet and your Security Key.

    Account security

    If you ever see an authentication request when you're not trying to log in, it could be someone else with your password. If this happens, report it to Student Services urgently on 131 601.

    Step 1: Log in to the Student Hub

    Option 1: If you have logged in to your 秀色直播account before

    If you鈥檝e already logged in to your 秀色直播account, you鈥檒l need to adjust your account settings before you can activate MFA.

    1. Log in to the with your 秀色直播account.

    2. Locate your name in the top right corner and select 鈥楳anage Preferences鈥� from the dropdown menu.

    1. Slide the MFA switch to 鈥極N鈥�.

    2. Select 鈥楽ave鈥�.

    3. Log out of your account, then log back in.

    4. Follow the prompts to set up your MFA software.

    Option 2: If you鈥檙e logging in for the first time

    On your computer

    1. The first time you log in to a 秀色直播system with your username and password, you'll see the 'Activate MFA' screen.

    2. Select 鈥榊es鈥�.

    Step 2: Pair your Security Key

    1. You will see the 鈥榃elcome to PingID' screen. Select 'Start鈥�.

    1. Your computer screen will show 鈥楢dd a new device鈥�.

    2. Select 鈥楽ecurity Key鈥�.

    1. When the Security Key Pairing screen appears, insert your Security Key into a USB port on your computer and follow the on-screen prompts.

    Step 3: Set up your Security Key

    The exact process will vary depending on the operating system of your computer. This guide shows the process for Windows 11.

    1. Select 鈥楽ecurity Key鈥�.

    2. Select 鈥楴ext'.

    1. Select 鈥極K鈥� to proceed with setup.

    1. Select 鈥極K鈥� to create a credential on your security key.

    1. Enter and confirm a PIN to secure your Security Key.

    2. Select 鈥極K鈥� to continue.

    1. Touch the button on your Security Key.

    1. This completes your Security Key set up. Select 鈥極K鈥� to continue.

    Authenticate your login using Security Key

    When you log in to the 秀色直播system, you will need your Security Key with you. It's a good idea to keep your Security Key on a keyring to keep it close by.

    1. After entering your 秀色直播password, you will see a screen asking you to plug in your Security Key.

    1. Insert your Security key into a USB port on your computer.

    2. Select your Security Key.

    3. Select 鈥楴ext鈥�.

    1. Enter the PIN for your Security Key.

    1. Touch the button on your Security Key.

    2. The Security Key will authenticate and you will be logged in.

    If you don鈥檛 have your Security Key

    If you don鈥檛 have your Security Key, you can generate a one-time passcode. The passcode will be sent to your personal email address.
