    Vocational training is essential for the community and a vital part of our local and regional economy. Ðãɫֱ²¥plays a crucial role in delivering this level of education across the state. The Ðãɫֱ²¥Charter outlines our commitments to learners, industry and communities, providing an extensive range of qualifications across all sectors.

    Importance of our charter

    °Õ³ó±ðÌýNSW VET Review’s Interim Report, released in March 2024, recognises the power of vocational training as a public good. The report highlights the vital role of a strong Ðãɫֱ²¥as the central public provider in the NSW VET system. 

    The Ðãɫֱ²¥Charter outlines the NSW Government’s expectations of Ðãɫֱ²¥as the state’s public vocational education and training provider. It is structured around TAFE NSW’s three key stakeholder groups - learners, industry and communities.   

    Learners

    Ðãɫֱ²¥is committed to delivering vocational education and training to the community. We aim to cater to diverse educational and career aspirations of all our students.

    The NSW Government is committed to ensuring every person in NSW has access to vocational education and training, regardless of their personal circumstances.

    Industry

    Ðãɫֱ²¥partners with industry to develop training programs that meet the ever-evolving needs of employers.

    Ðãɫֱ²¥offers courses that align with the NSW Skills Plan and the workforce needs of the NSW economy.

    Communities
