  Entry requirements

  • You must be either an Australian citizen or permanent resident. You must also possess either;

  • A Certificate IV qualification in a technical ICT discipline or greater, as evidenced by a certified copy of your certificate and transcript. And, a minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical ICT role, as evidenced by a letter from your employer.

  • Or,

  • Four years of experience in a technical ICT role, as evidenced by a letter from your employer.

  You must demonstrate that you have achieved one of the following:

  • A NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent as evidenced by a certified copy of your certificate or transcript OR

  • A Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation or its equivalent as evidenced by a certified copy of your certificate or transcript OR

  • A completed certificate IV or higher vocational qualification as evidenced by a certified copy of your certificate or transcript

  You must also:

  • Submit a 500-word essay that shows your motivation to study and work in the information technology industry

  • Attend a pre-admission interview where you may also be asked to complete a short literacy and numeracy task - this helps us to understand how we can support your study success and provide you with any necessary support

  • Have mathematics knowledge to HSC level or equivalent before entering this course, or you may be required to undertake a bridging program or preparatory course

  • Your certificates, transcripts and other entry requirement evidence must be certified through a Justice of the Peace or other authorising officer
